While working with Interbrand, I developed the design for the Citibank Custom Cash Card, a new credit card product that competes with popular cash rewards cards used for everyday personal spending. The card delivers variable rewards that automatically grant you the highest cash back on whichever category you spend the most on each month.
Citibank’s credit card products are known well by their clearly defined design system, which highlights the institutional trust that its customers depend on. For this card, I ensured the design spoke to the generative quality of its rewards and a smooth ease of use and flexibility for their customers.
The card launched in June 2021, with Dan Levy and Rashida Jones leading the marketing and advertising campaigns as ambassadors for the brand.
